Implementation Analyst
An Implementation Analyst to lead how HIRA gets embedded into hospital operations. This means driving adoption, not just deployment. You will be the bridge between our product and the operational reality of how hospitals manage labor. You will work directly with nursing directors, staffing office managers, and operational leaders to understand their workflows, analyze their data, configure solutions, and ensure the platform changes how staffing decisions are made.
Remote
Contract
Responsibilities
Client Implementation & Operations
• Own client implementations end-to-end: discovery, current-state assessment,
configuration, training, go-live, post-launch optimization
• Analyze hospital labor workflows: unit staffing, schedule construction, float pool
deployment, manual workarounds
• Build and maintain implementation workplans, status trackers, and issue logs
• Analyze client staffing data: labor spend, scheduling actuals, overtime patterns,
agency utilization
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
• Build working relationships with directors of nursing, house supervisors, staffing
office managers, and finance partners
• Serve as primary point of contact throughout each engagement
• Execute stakeholder mapping, readiness assessments, training delivery,
communication plans, and feedback collection
• Identify resistance early and address it directly
• Manage through implementation setbacks without losing momentum or stakeholder
confidence
Analysis & Insight Development
• Identify staffing inefficiencies and labor cost drivers: overtime concentration, agency
dependency, schedule non-compliance, census-to-staff misalignment
• Conduct value impact analyses: quantify operational and financial outcomes against
pre-deployment baselines (premium labor spend reduction, staffing coverage
improvement, scheduling compliance changes)
• Build current-state and future-state process maps documenting actual hospital
workflows
• Produce client-facing reports framed around cost impact, quality risk, and
operational burden
Product Feedback & Development
• Translate field observations into structured product input: document the workflow,
the failure point, and the solution requirements
• Capture client edge cases, configuration decisions, and workarounds to build
HIRA’s implementation playbook
• Participate in design sessions, sprint reviews, and roadmap discussions
representing the client’s operational reality
• Track and report on implementation KPIs: adoption rates, time-to-value, workflow
compliance, labor cost impact
Qualifications
Required:
• 2–5 years in implementation consulting, healthcare operations, change
management, or an operational analyst role
• Strong analytical capability: clean, structure, and extract insight from raw staffing
data quickly
• Excel proficiency required; SQL or BI tool experience is a strong plus
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and drive adoption with skeptical stakeholders
• Process mapping and workflow documentation: capture how operations actually run
• Clear, specific written communication: status updates, training materials, issue logs,
client reports
• Strong project management discipline: tracks open items, follows up independently,
keeps workstreams moving
• Able to operate independently, define scope, and execute without detailed direction
Preferred:
• Experience in hospital operations, nursing administration, or health system
workforce management
• Familiarity with workforce management platforms (UKG/Kronos, API Healthcare,
Infor)
• Exposure to EHR environments (Epic, Cerner) and clinical-operational data flows
• Experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude) or agile workflows
(Jira, Linear)
• Prior startup experience or a role requiring execution well beyond a defined job
description
• Understanding of healthcare labor cost drivers: overtime, agency spend, float
optimization, schedule compliance, position control
Compensation
Hourly compensation tied to defined milestones
• Milestones may include client implementations, workflow documentation,
adoption targets, training rollouts, and product feedback deliverables
• Equity package with vesting schedule (standard 4-year or milestone-based
vesting)
• Clear path to grow into a long-term implementation, customer success, or
operational leadership role
This structure provides flexibility while ensuring transparency, alignment, and meaningful upside
as a core technical leader.
